Privacy Policy

Applies to the website tamdang.tech. Last updated October 15, 2026. This document describes the data Bút Nghiên uses to run exams and classes.

  1. 1. Operator

Bút Nghiên is an exam and class management platform at tamdang.tech, developed and operated by TAM DANG EDUCATION TECHNOLOGY COMPANY LIMITED. No 24/7 support email has been published yet. For account questions, use Forgot password. For product questions, see Guide or Contact. Never send your password by email.

  2. 2. Account data

When you sign up, Bút Nghiên stores your full name, email, hashed password, and phone number if you provide one. You can sign in with Google; in that case Bút Nghiên receives the email and name from the Google account you choose. Bút Nghiên does not sell user lists.

  3. 3. Learning data

Classes, exams, questions, attempts, submitted files and scores are stored so that teachers can run tests and students can see results when the exam policy allows. Teachers see the data for the classes and exams they manage. Students see the classes they have joined, and the attempts and scores they are allowed to view.

  4. 4. Exam integrity log

While a student or guest takes an exam, Bút Nghiên records a log of: when they leave and return to the exam tab or window (with how long they were away), when the network connection is lost and restored (with how long it was lost), and whether any copy or paste action takes place on the exam page. Each entry contains only the event type and time. Bút Nghiên does not store the content you copy or paste, does not record keystrokes, does not take screenshots and does not use the camera or microphone. The exam preparation page shows a notice about this log before you start.

Only the teacher who created the exam and administrators can view the log, for reference when evaluating attempts. The log does not deduct points, submit exams or conclude that cheating occurred on its own. The log is kept together with the attempt; if you delete your own account, the log is deleted after 30 days along with the attempt's IP address and browser information.

  5. 5. Cookies and on-device storage

To keep you signed in, Bút Nghiên uses one HttpOnly cookie that lasts about a day, or up to 30 days if you choose Remember me. Bút Nghiên does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Your browser also stores on your device: your theme and language, your email if you choose Remember me, the exam draft you are writing, the questions you marked in the Mistakes notebook, and answers or integrity log entries that could not be sent while you were offline. This data is removed when you clear the site's data.

  6. 6. Third-party providers

Bút Nghiên uses an email delivery service to send sign-up verification codes, forgot-password links, password change confirmations, and account activation invite emails when a teacher creates an account for you from a class list. If you sign in with Google, Google handles the authentication step under Google's policies. Bút Nghiên does not use learning data for advertising.

  7. 7. Retention and backups

Data is kept while the account is active, because classes, exams and attempts are needed to verify results. The system keeps backups for operations and recovery from incidents, not for selling data. When an account is deleted from the live system, its account data is no longer displayed; backups expire according to the operational cycle.

  8. 8. Young students

Bút Nghiên does not verify age at sign-up. Teachers or schools are responsible when creating classes and accounts for young students, including obtaining the consent of a parent or guardian where the law requires it. Teachers can create student accounts from a class list (email and full name); such an account cannot sign in until the student opens the activation link sent by email (valid for 7 days) and sets their own password, or uses Forgot password with that same email. If the email already has a student account, the teacher can only send an invitation; the student decides whether to join the class, and only once the student has joined can the teacher see the student's full name and profile information. Parents can ask the teacher or an administrator to review a student's learning data in the class.

  9. 9. Correction and deletion requests

You can edit your full name, phone number and password in Settings. Teachers manage the classes and exams they create. You can delete your own account in Settings by confirming your password (if you have one) and the verification code sent to your email. After deletion, your full name, email, phone number, avatar, password and Google link are removed from the live system; classes, exams and attempt results are kept for the other party but are no longer linked to your name. If you can't sign in, state your registered email via the Contact page or ask your workspace administrator for help. Administrators may lock or delete accounts when needed to protect the system, or when processing a valid deletion request.
