Join a class with a code or link
You join a class with the join code your teacher gives you, or by opening a link or scanning a QR code. When you type the code, uppercase, lowercase and dashes don't matter.

Steps
- Option 1 – enter the code: click “Join class” at the top of the sidebar (the code box opens right away), or go to “Classes” and click “Enter class join code”. Type the code (for example 7KM4-X2QD), then click “Confirm and join”.
- Option 2 – link or QR code: open the link your teacher sent, or use your phone camera to scan the QR code your teacher shows on screen.
- The preview page shows the class name, subject, “Teacher in charge”, “Current enrollment” and “Join code”. It doesn't show the list of classmates or any exams.
- Not signed in: click “Sign in to join the class”. Signed in with Student mode: click “Confirm joining the class”. Already in the class: click “Enter class space”.
- Once you've joined, the class appears on the “Classes” page with the “Enrolled” label.
Options and limits
- Typing the code
- Spaces, dashes and underscores are ignored, and lowercase letters are changed to uppercase automatically, so typing 7km4 x2qd works too.
- When the teacher changes the code
- The old code, link and QR code stop working immediately. If you're already in the class, you stay in it and aren't removed.
Common errors and how to fix them
- “Invalid class code, or the class isn't accepting students.” → the code is wrong, or the teacher changed the code or temporarily turned off joining by code. Ask your teacher for the new code.
- “Class not found or the code has expired.” (when opening a link) → ask your teacher for a new link or QR code.
- “You're already a member of this class!” → you're already in the class; open it from the “Classes” page.
- “Teacher accounts can't enroll in a class as a student.” → you're in Teacher mode. Open the account menu, click “Switch to Student”, then open the link again.
