Steps

  1. Check the exam details: “Time limit”, “Number of questions”, “Max attempts”, with an “…/… attempts used” line. A label shows the exam's status: “Open for attempts”, “No attempts left”, “Not started yet”, “Ended” or “Archived”. When the exam isn't open yet, has ended or has been archived, or you have no attempts left, the page has no start button and explains why instead; if you submitted before, there's a “View results” button. If you have an unfinished attempt, click “Continue attempt”.
  2. Read the “Online exam room rules”: the timer follows the server clock; your work is saved automatically each time you choose an answer; when time runs out, the system collects and grades your exam automatically.
  3. Read the “Integrity log” block: while you work, the system records how many times and how long you leave the exam tab or window, lose your connection, and copy or paste. Bút Nghiên doesn't store what you copy, doesn't take points off and doesn't submit your exam for you.
  4. Tick the box “I have read the online exam rules and the integrity log notice, and I agree to follow them strictly.”
  5. Click “Start the exam now”. The button only works after you tick the agreement box.

Common errors and how to fix them

  • “Exam not found” → the exam may be closed, or you're not in the class it was assigned to. Click “Back to main page”.
  • “Couldn't start the attempt. Please try again.” or another red message below the button (for example, no attempts left) → read the error message, reload the page and try again.
  • If this is a practice exam you created yourself, the start button says “Practice this exam”.
